fresh mozzarella
4 large or 6 medium ripe tomatoes, sliced
bunch fresh basil, stems removed and discarded
Extra-virgin olive oil, for drizzling
Flaky sea salt
Freshly ground black pepper
Arrange the tomato and mozzarella slices over a plate or platter. Tear over the basil, season with salt and pepper, then drizzle over the oil and balsamic vinegar. Serve at room temperature.
